Prospective graduate students are encouraged to apply to the M.S. or Ph.D. programs in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science at Michigan State University. Additionally, you are encouraged to email Prof. Turnley with your CV and a brief statement on your research interests and experience. Eligible students are also encouraged to apply for external fellowships like the NSF GRFP.

Funding to hire postdocs is not always available. Please consider applying for external postdoctoral fellowships. Interested researchers can email Prof. Turnley with their CV and a cover letter. The cover letter should include your research interests, what you hope to learn during your time in the group, and what skills you will bring to the team.

It is preferred that students complete at least one chemistry/chemical engineering lab course before joining the group.
